I’ve seen social media posts of people signing in High School say they always dreamed of playing in the nfl, nba, prca, mlb, nhl, mls, pros of Golf, tennis, nascar and the like. What ten year old doesn’t dream of playing in the pros? Or being a singer or movie star. Reality hits for most people.
If your that great good. But how many teammates play in the pros and how many people do you know play in the pros.
that burley kid said he had dreams to play in the pros and is playing at thenCollege of Idaho. Those that do can rub in it.
The life of a pro athlete is not all that glamorous. Who remembers the back up left tackle. On the road Frequently. Pressure. Korey Hall, Leighton Vanderesch, Matt Paradis classy people in the pros.
Reality sets in for most people even those good Enough to play college ball.
What Burley kid are you talking about?

Several years ago my son loved baseball so I took him to several training camps. At one of the camps I was talking to a scout from the Cleveland Indians as my 10 yr old was showing his skills. I asked the scout this same question and here is his statistics. If 300,000 10 year old boys go out for baseball, little league, pony ball, Dixie league, maverick or whatever, about 10,000 show the necessary skills to play pro ball. By the age of 18, 9,000 of those boys have disappeared. Other sports, lack of interest, trouble or again whatever. Out of the 1000 that are left, about 200 actually play pro at some level. Of the 200, about 10 will make it to the big show.
