I know there is a shortage of officials in Idaho across all sports but I'm curious as to your opinions if poor officiating ever truly affects the outcome of a game? I ask as someone with officiating experience and who has the utmost respect for people willing to do that almost thankless job.
Rigby will be a bit different as far a the play style goes, because they have much more strength in bigs than guards, but they have the Berrett kid still, and he has the potential to score 30 a game if he needs to. It might take them a little bit of time to get back into the groove of basketball, because all but 2 of the main players played football up until a little under 2 weeks before the basketball season. They are a little bit short on guards with Taylor, Martin, and Olaveson leaving last year, but they have a lot of promise with the young guard group coming up, and the Miller kid as the point guard, who has been on varsity since a sophomore. The competition in their district this year is pretty weak, with Thunder Ridge, Highland, and Madison. Rocky Mountain and Post Falls will be tough too, but I would still give the upper hand to Rigby. Any thoughts?
