    State Tournament Players to Watch

Which players are you most excited to watch play in the state tournament? I've only watched mostly 5A SIC games this year, so my knowledge about teams/players around the state, especially in lower classifications is limited! I'd love to hear from some of you guys from Eastern Idaho and Northern Idaho about some of the players coming over for state. Here's my list of players to watch in the state tourney.

    - Briggs Ranstrom (Rocky Mtn) - in my opinion the best all around player I've seen in the 5A SIC. Can dominate a game from inside or out.

    - Brayden Hamilton (Rocky Mtn) - team goes as he goes. Doesn't need to score to have a tremendous impact on the game for rocky. He's their tough guy who does the dirty work.

    - Austen Bolt (Borah) - Insane motor. Dominates games with his ability to gather offensive rebounds and finish around the rim.

    - Ellis Magnuson (Borah) - Best all around guard in the 5A SIC. Very unselfish and always looks to get Borahs shooters going early, but can takeover games with his ability to score as well.

    - Tanner Hayhurst (Eagle) - Maybe the best pure scorer in the SIC. Knockdown shooter but great drive and finishing ability.

    - Michael Ozomah (Mt. View) - Big, athletic wing who can change games defensively with his ability to switch and defend any position 1-5.

Who did I miss? Anyone from East/North Idaho wanna chime in? Who should I be looking forward to watching in one of the best weeks of the year?

Look out for Colby Gennett (Post Falls) who had 19 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks in their district title win. Gennett was All-IEL last year. Sophomore wing Alex Horning is talented too for the Trojans. He is 6'5" and averages double digit points. If CDA gets in they have a nice inside-out combo of Kale Edwards on the inside and Drew Hostetter on the outside that should keep them in games and give them a chance to maybe pull an upset. Madison is led by Spencer Hathaway, who I believe last I checked averages about 15 points per contest. Junior forward Tanoa Togiai is fun to watch on the inside for Rigby when he can get going. That team won just seven games combined the two years prior to this season and has really turned it around.
