So, I've been shuffling through the Fall Previews and for the most part I'm browsing and not really seeing anything super interesting. Most coaches are fairly predictable in what they say which ends in most of the previews being mostly predictable.
However, I found the Shoshone fall preview very interesting. Shoshone is currently on a 14 game losing streak. As a result of that they are playing a blended JV/Varsity schedule with some Varsity level games against some 1ADiv2 teams and the rest of the games against 1ADiv1 JV teams. The coach says this: "We do not have any incoming players that I see as impact players this year, but we are happy to see our numbers in the lower grades beginning to increase." He also says "We once again are young. We might have one senior play this year, so we are going to have to lean on the juniors we have."
My question, I suppose, what's up with Shoshone? And at what point do you say, meh, let's do something else?
