Rollin, rollin, rollin
Fruitland vs Gooding- Fruitland has been at or near the top of the 3A hierarchy for nearly 15 years. Gooding a few years back inserted themselves near the top, but haven't been able to break through. Fruitland has won the previous 3 matchups by double digits, but all of the games have been very competitive. I'll take Fruitland in a 31-24 contest.
Homedale at Baker City, OR- Nestled in the Elkhorn Mountains of eastern Oregon lies the town of Baker City. In the early 2010s, Baker looked like they were on the verge of a dynasty, winning 2 titles in 3 years, but that never materialized. The Bulldogs have a young team, and they only scored 7 points in their opening win against Nyssa, OR. Homedale has been scoring in bunches, and is not a young team. Homedale 47-7.
Parma vs Nampa Christian- Parma has been blown out twice, Nampa Christian once. Somebody's going to break into the left hand column. Flips coin, tails equals Parma, Parma wins 19-13.
Payette at Marsing- Payette and Marsing have, um, struggled recently. Payette has only won 2 games in the past 3 years, while Marsing has won a game. Both of Payette's wins: Marsing. Payette has had almost no success, but they have been able to beat Marsing, and I think they finally break into the winning side with a 24-12 win
Fruitland 41 Gooding 19- I was not expecting this to happen. Fruitland continues to impress as they rolled past 2nd ranked Gooding 41-19, and they did it without senior running back/linebacker Jonathan Fagen.. Cole Eiguren accounted for 6 touchdowns in the game.
Homedale 62 Baker 18- Homedale continues to pile on points.
Nampa Christian 36 Parma 12- Parma is having some struggles right now.
Marsing 18 Payette 6- Well, Payette finally managed to score, and they didn't give up 50 plus for the 3rd week in a row. On the other hand, scoring just 6 points isn't going to win very many football games.
