The air quality in northern Idaho was hazardous yesterday and predicted to be the same today and into the week. Anyone in the north knows it is almost impossible to go outside. My question is: Will this cause the cancellation of Friday's games, and if so, at what point will the call be made? I know that Madison is coming to Lake City, so when is the call made to prevent the travel up, only to have the game cancelled? Even the local regional teams; most have been inside and will probably be inside most of the week. Does the Idaho Sports.com crew have any info on the issue, or anyone reading the Boards have connections to the AD's?

It looks like the Magic Valley is the only area in the red. The rest of the state looks surprisingly good.
The air quality is over 100 (unhealthy) in Coeur d' Alene at 8:30 Thursday morning.
It needs to be over 150 to cancel games... Over 100 is not good but....
It's getting up there again. Our local schools are keeping grade school kids inside for recess....not a good sign.
Filer and North Fremont have moved their game from Filer to Ashton because of the smoke. The Snake River/Kimberly game could get moved from Kimberly for the same reason.
Madison offered to pay Lake City's travel and give them half the gate to switch it to Rexburg. Hopefully they don't cancel.
The AQ is 167 at 6:40 pm Thursday. There is a fire about a mile east of Hayden Lake that has been burning since yesterday and is pouring smoke into CDA. I talked to Lake City this morning and they told me that they were going to wait until tomorrow to make the call. I made a comment about letting Madison travel up, only to be told the game was cancelled, and the lady I spoke with seemed to feel that is what was going to happen.
Dome sweet Dome.... The air quality is terrible!
It's below 150 in the magic valley right now. If it stays below until noon, I predict Magic Valley games will proceed. It looks likes the Treasure Valley spiked overnight though! Yikes!
Much better in CDA this morning. AQ shows 47 on line at 8:25 am.
Snake River/Kimberly could be moved or cancelled. The determination will come at 2:30 pm today. If the air quality is bad in Kimberly but good at Snake River, the game could get moved to Snake River. If it's bad in both locations, the game could be moved to tomorrow or cancelled altogether. If it's good at Kimberly, the game will remain there.
