Post some evidence. Name some names and schools. Can’t just drop an insinuation like that.
I was told that eck from American falls had 5 kids moving there from other states?
If you're so worried about what AF is doing with their program that is showing that you are simply scared of a LEGAL team that AF has this coming season. Worry about your own program.
I don't have any knowledge of what's going on in American Falls, but those same things were said about Eck when he was at Rigby...and they were BS. Rigby is one of the fastest growing communities in Idaho. Tons of people are moving there from all over the country. All of their sports are getting move ins...to my knowledge all legit move ins. I can tell you that I know for fact that that all the kids he had wrestling in Rigby had parents who moved into the district.
It's not only wrestling that it is happening. Kids from Washington Wyoming California . The school I have heard from lots of people is American falls . Have also heard rumor of sugar and Blackfoot.
Eck is the AOC of wrestling. Never met the guy but everybody loves to hate him. “IF” he is really getting 5 kids to move into AF, there will be a lot of mad parents. AF has a good returning team without the recruits. Displacing 5 local boys will cause trouble.
Eck did the same thing last year at Rigby right? no repercussions as far as I know.
South did the same thing last year. They had 4 or 5 kids move in from other schools As part of the ACES. Good for them. Finally took down Sugar in 3A.
I don’t see things changing from an application of guidelines or enforcement from IHSAA. I guess the discussion is if Covid closed down their (The kids transferring) programs they can’t move. I am not for or against this yet, need to educate myself on the matter.
Difference between south and eck is them boys been wrestling at aces for ever and started high school there . Eck recruits from other states the kids at rigby were from California.
Kids eck is trying to get all of them multiple time state champs.
Eck has and will always be this way. Recruiting over building a program. Worry about your program and wrestlers and you will come out on top.
