It doesn't look like Meridian loses a whole lot. I'm not sure what Jerome and Nampa bring in as Freshmen next year, but they seem to lose about the same this year. Buhl is young and they are dang tough, even with not having some studs on their team this year. The gap between New Plymouth and Ririe probably gets bigger next year. What's the format going to look like adding girls to the state tournament next year? Are they going to run it with the 2-day format?

I'll have to see how many kids the new Owyhee HS takes from Meridian (and Eagle and Rocky) before making any 2022 predictions for 5A.
Assuming we have another wrestling season, who knows anymore.....I look for meridian to repeat, not sure on 4A, buhl and south close again bit I think south gets another one, the upper valley aces kick out some great kids to that program. New plymouth has a lot coming back, I think a couple kids going for four and another one going for 3, they are staying on top atleast for another year, Ririe will be down for a minute but from what I hear they have some big classes coming up jr high. Malad, Declo, should compete
