Compass Honors Athletic Admin Are The Worst

If you are thinking of applying to coach for Compass Honors off Blackcat in Meridian I would highly reconsider this school. They lie to their coaches, players and parents. They do not care about anyone but themselves. They fired the boys basketball coaches mid season and brought in the husband of one of the ADs and brother to the other AD as the boys coaches. They tried to tell everyone that this was not a political move, but facts are facts. I have been hearing that they are letting the Girls Basketball coaches go as well, with more political stuff happening. Both ADs have stated that they are going to go by what the players and parents want. The Compass ADs met with the girl athletes last night, and the girls tried to show support for the coaches from last season. The players were met with resistance and felt not supported. The talk is now that key players from last season will not play next season because of the Compass ADs. The Compass ADs also made it clear they will not value the opinions of the parents of the players. I have seen Coach Rich Malm and Coach Drew Williams coach the past 2 seasons and they are great leaders who inspire the student athletes to do better. If anyone is looking to hire some great coaches, I would get in contact with Malm and Williams. They know the game of basketball very well.
